Bitmain AntMiner S21 (200Th) is a high-end bitcoin miner launched in March 2024, with a maximum computing power of 200Th/s and a power consumption of 3550W.  It has an excellent energy efficiency of 0.017j/Gh. The Ant Miner S21 has been fine-tuned for the SHA-256 mining algorithm to mine well-known cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Terracoin, BitcoinSV, and more.

This is a quick reference guide for setting up Bitmain Antminer S21 (200Th)

1. Prepare the ASIC

①. The miner is powered on, and the main upgrade of the Ant miner S21 is the new power cord. Unlike previous versions of the Ant Miner, which required two sets of C-13 to C-14 power cords, the Ant Miner S21 requires P13 to C20.This P13 to C20 cable is a three-strand 12-gauge cable that can handle the huge amount of power and heat generated during mining.

②. Plug the P13 to C20 cable into the ASIC miner.

③. The miner is connected to the network cable, because any ASIC does not support WiFi connection.

Make sure all plugs are tight and there are no loose connections. You are now ready to start the ASIC.

2. Configure the ASIC

①. Once the power is turned on, the Ethernet light will light up.

②. Now you need the IP address of Ant Miner S21. To get the IP address of the miner, you can choose one of the following steps:

You can use a free program software called Advance IP Scanner to obtain the IP address of the miner.

You can log in to the router and get the IP address.

3. Access S21 200Th through a web browser.

After entering the IP address in the browser, a window will appear asking for a username and password.   Log in to the browser by providing 'root' as the username and password. For all Antminer models, the default username and password are root.  However, the credentials may vary in other models from different companies. You can contact us via email, phone, WhatsApp, and we will do our best to assist you.

Now you can access the Web GUI of Antminer S21 200Th.

4. Check the firmware

Go to the System menu to view the firmware upgrade status of the S21 miner.

Next, go to the Bitmain page to see the release date of the firmware.

If the date is the same, there is no need to update the firmware. Or download the official firmware from the Bitmain website.  It is always recommended to use the firmware on the manufacturer's website, as it can help you protect against viruses and unethical activities.

5. Improve the firmware

Access AntMiner S21 dashboard.

If you downloaded the latest firmware version, select the upgrade firmware you just downloaded. Check the "Keep same Settings" box.

Click the Update button and wait for the firmware upgrade. This will take a few minutes.

When finished, you can see the dashboard display the updated firmware version.

6. Add mining pool

Now, go to the Settings page and set up the mining process by adding the pool, wallet address, and password.

You can view the mining pool statistics to select the mining pool to mine bitcoin in. You can research and choose the mining pool that best suits your mining needs. For example, let's use luxor. tech as an example to demonstrate.

You need to register an account with any mining pool first. Log in to your account and get the mine pool address. Copy the mine pool address.

Paste it under the mining address on the Settings page. Next, the miners' names. You can find the miner name under the work configuration.  You can provide the name of your choice. Finally, enter the password of your choice and click "Save".

That's it.  Your Antminer S21 is now connected to the Bitcoin mining pool.

7. Start mining Bitcoin

After a few minutes you can check the dashboard of the ant miner to see the mining status. The mining process should have begun.

Sometimes, there may be a lag.  You can restart the miner at any time to get the actual reading.

After restarting, you can see the ant miner S21 mining Bitcoin at a maximum computing power of around 200Th/s.
